Courtesy cars are provided when your own vehicle is being repaired. This service is provided to ensure that you will be able to continue with your normal day to day activities without disruption. If your car is not safe to drive or not 'roadworthy' after an accident then your car will need to be moved. Insurers in general provide two levels of cover, “service” cover where the insurer will arrange for someone to come out and help you and remove your car, usually to the insurers approved repairer, or a “cost” cover where any towing charges made for the removal of your car would be paid by your insurer, however, the arrangements would have to be made by yourself

Our policy provides you with an Accident Recovery service where we will arrange for your car to be taken to one of our approved repairersRescue cover
If your car is not driveable following an accident, we will take your car and a maximum of six persons to the nearest Cornhill Direct Approved repairer or if you do not wish your car to be taken to a suitable repairer, we will arrange and pay for the transportation of your car and six people to your home address or your original destination
